They should also have a waterproof band. Some of the most common bracelet materials include rubber, nylon, and metal.

The best dive watches are tested to meet international standards. ISO 6425 is the standard for diving watches, and only those that meet this standard can use the word "Diver" on their dial. But it's not a mandatory feature. There are some watch manufacturers that don't want to dance to the ISO 6425 requirements. That's OK. If you don't want to pay a lot for a watch that doesn't pass the ISO tests, buy one that does.
