There's a town called Nevesk that Lilith's affect on the inhabitants of Sanctuary is demonstrated. There's more to her than just being evil. This sets her apart as an intriguing adversary when compared to other Great Evils from the previous Diablo titles. While her ultimate goal isn't evident at first, her presence is instantly felt and was done deliberately so by the development team.
